  • Who needs audiometric testing?

    Audiometric testing is essential for employees exposed to noise levels exceeding the recommended exposure standard of 85 dB(A) over an eight-hour period.

  • Can testing be done onsite?

    Yes, we can conduct testing onsite to minimise downtime and disruption, making it easier for your business to comply with regulations.

  • How often should audiometric testing be conducted?

    New WA Regulations came into effect on March 31st 2022. For audiometric testing in WA they state the following:

    WHS Act 2020 and Regulations place a duty on the person running a business to provide audiometric testing for workers who use personal hearing protection:

    (a) within 3 months of the worker commencing the work; and
    (b) in any event, at least every 2 years

  • What happens if a hearing loss is detected?

    If a hearing loss is detected, we provide detailed reports and recommendations, including referrals to specialists if required.

  • Is the testing process invasive or uncomfortable?

    No, audiometric testing is a non-invasive and straightforward process, conducted in a controlled environment for accurate results.
